“Poland-Ukraine. Law and Business”: the UkraineInvest team opened a seminar in Warsaw

Recently, the seminar “Poland-Ukraine. Law and Business” took place in Warsaw. UkraineInvest’s Executive Director joined the event as a special guest and opened the event with a welcoming speech.

Sergiy Tsivkach presented UkraineInvest’s activities and outlined projects already being implemented with the support of the government office, investment incentives, and key sectors of the Ukrainian economy and prospects for their development. Sergiy Tsivkach also presented legislative activities to support investment. Thus, he called on partners to cooperate, which needs to be built and strengthened now.

“We have to think about the future and joint projects. The world is currently experiencing unprecedented interest in Ukraine. World leaders in this field are ready to facilitate investment in Ukraine, which has never happened before. It is not only about rebuilding Ukraine; it is about the economic development and prosperity of other countries,” emphasized the head of UkraineInvest.

He also drew attention to the fact that partner assistance is not just about donations for Ukraine. It is about cooperation, building economic ties, and investments designed to generate profits.
In his speech, Sergiy Tsivkach also mentioned the Davos Ukrainian Breakfast, during which world leaders in finance and investment emphasized their intention to contribute to Ukraine’s economic transformation.

About 130 participants joined the seminar in offline and online formats. Among them were representatives of large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, financial, legal, and tax advisors, and Polish and Ukrainian companies.

Ebury Consulting Company, the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, TACO Tax Company, and Graś i Wspólnicy Law Firm organized the event.

The UkraineInvest team and the Ukrainian Government are grateful to our colleagues and partners from Poland for making investments for Ukraine’s recovery and economic transformation the central topic of discussion at the event.
