An extremely productive business trip to the USA, where in a few days Sergiy Tsivkach took part in a number of promising meetings, namely:
 
1 May – Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) Round Table at the SelectUSA Investment Summit organised by the US Department of Commerce. Meeting with Marisa Lago – Assistant Secretary of the International Trade Administration.
Main insights – Ukraine can attract American companies with raw materials, logistics, trade and other advantages. In return, we can get high-tech companies in agro-processing, metalworking, chemicals and other industries.
 
May 2 – a meeting of the 20-20 Investment Association, which brings together managers of investment organisations with a combined portfolio of more than $8 trillion. The audience included 30 of the world’s top investment specialists. As a result – work on cooperation between
 and
 industry, development of the investment market in Ukraine and “Ukraine related investments”.
 
3 May – “off-the-record” meeting with one of the most influential analytical centres of the USA and the world – Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Among the participants there were be business leaders, management of financial organisations, leading investment experts.
Result – UkraineInvest, together with CSIS, will develop proposals for attracting investments into Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises using the mechanisms of mixed financing and social impact investments.
 
5 May – meeting with influential New York investors together with UkraineInvest strategic advisor Marina Besignano. Marina is a partner of the top US law firm – Mayer Brown, which provides free services to our institution, promotes investment and promotion. Thank you for your cooperation.
