German businesses are interested in receiving the state support throughout the implementation of  investment projects in Ukraine

This was discussed during the meeting of the UkraineInvest Executive Director Sergiy Tsivkach with management of German logistics holding HHLA.

HHLA has already invested more than $170 million in Ukraine and plans further investment.

Sergiy Tsivkach said that the law On State Support for Investment Projects with Significant Investments will provide investors with state support and a number of incentives for large investment projects.

Currently, the Government is working on the bylaws necessary for the implementation of the law.

Anastas Kokkin, General Director of SC “CTO”, expressed interest in the program, as the company plans to continue investing in Ukraine.

Svitlana Yarova, Honorary Representative of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg in Ukraine, also expressed interest in further investments from German business.

In addition to the prospects for new investments, the meeting was also devoted to resolving the investor’s problematic issues with the UkraineInvest assistance. In particular, the construction of an alternative entrance to the port of Odessa and a breakwater.
