One of the largest agro-industrial exhibitions of Ukraine, “AgroExpo-2021,” has started its work in the Kirovograd region, and UkraineInvest’s Executive Director Sergiy Tsivkach took part in the opening of the event.
The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko, Head of the Kirovograd Regional State Administration Maria Chorna, Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Kyiv Nicolas Harrocks, and Chairman of the Council of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Dmytro Oleinik also addressed the participants with welcoming words.
The UkraineInvest team got familiarized with the products of dozens of companies participating in the exhibition, which represent the latest technologies in the field of agro-industrial engineering, significantly strengthening the image of Ukraine as a European manufacturing hub. According to Sergiy Tsivkach, the agricultural sector is one of the priorities for UkraineInvest in attracting investments and developing production in Ukraine. As of today, UkraineInvest accompanies agricultural processing investment projects in the amount of 269 million US dollars.
AgroExpo is one of the TOP 10 largest agricultural exhibitions in Europe. Its expositions feature the latest samples of domestic and foreign technology and equipment in the agro-industrial sphere. Traditionally, during the exhibition, the “Pokrovsky Fair” represents regional agro products.
In total, 510 companies and around 500 participants of the “Pokrovsky Fair” are represented at the exhibition this year.
