UkraineInvest Executive Director Sergiy Tsivkach performed an online presentation at the International Construction and Energy Fair “Rebuilding Ukraine: Opportunities for Slovenian Business” in Slovenia.
The speech of the Executive Director of UkraineInvest was devoted to the topic of private investment in Ukraine and privileges that foreign businesses can take advantage of due to state support provided by the Law on “Investment Nannies”.
Sergiy Tsivkach assured that “Ukraine is open for cooperation, ready for investment and has a lot to offer to foreign companies.”
The event was organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Slovenia with the participation of more than 70 Slovenian companies that represent construction and energy sectors. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Slovenia, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia, diplomats, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, Director of the Economic Diplomacy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, as well as representatives of the SPIRIT export agency.
During the event, the participants discussed the special initiative “Recovery Plan of Ukraine” and the mechanism for obtaining international financing for the participants of reconstruction of Ukraine’s infrastructure and economy. The Executive Director has also presented specific projects in different regions of Ukraine that may be of interest to Slovenian investors.
