This topic was discussed by UkraineInvest Executive Director Sergiy Tsivkach during the webinar “Business in Ukraine during War,” organized by Canada Ukraine Chamber of Commerce.
The online meeting was also attended by Ukraine’s Ambassador to Canada Yulia Kovaliv, President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and IndustryGennadiy Chyzhykov and Director at TechUkraine, Supervisory Board Member at Kyiv IT Cluster Nataly Veremeeva.
According to Sergiy Tsivkach, russian aggression against Ukraine is a global crisis that has significant economic consequences for the whole world. Therefore, it is important to support the stage of Ukraine’s restoration during the war and post-war periods and actively involve the international business community in this process.
“UkraineInvest is now also working on the program “Make in UA: Recovery,” which provides research and identification of priority areas and mechanisms for attracting foreign direct and domestic investment to stabilize and recover Ukraine’s economy. Accordingly, we plan to conduct a targeted campaign to attract investors in relevant sectors of the economy. We are also focusing on establishing cooperation with foreign companies that are curtailing production activities from russia and can potentially relocate to Ukraine,” Sergiy Tsivkach emphasized.
UkraineInvest team continues to work in full-fledged mode and provide the necessary support to businesses and investors during the armed aggression against Ukraine.
