Greek investments in Ukraine at the beginning of 2023 totalled USD 20.018 mln. This proves that all our joint efforts – the government, Ukrainian and Greek businesses – are paying off.
Investments are the best confirmation of Ukraine’s positive image.
This was stated by the Acting Executive Director of UkraineInvest at the International Conference on Ukraine’s Recovery with Greek Business.
Oleksandr Melnychenko urged Greek companies to look for partners in Ukraine. He stressed that in order to strengthen investment security and reduce risks associated with military conflicts, Ukraine is developing partnerships in the field of investment insurance with leading international agencies such as MIGA and USDFC, especially in the aspects of insurance against military operations and unforeseen events, and a number of countries have created special funds to insure the investments of their residents.
“UkraineInvest, the state investment promotion agency, helps foreign investors develop and implement investment projects in Ukraine. We are ensuring that Ukraine’s reconstruction is based primarily on attracting private investment. Companies are actively approaching us with investment plans. There is a gradual recovery of investment potential and interest in Ukraine, and new projects are being developed. Despite the fact that the country is at war, Ukraine is moving decisively towards integration with the European Union,” said Oleksandr Melnychenko, Acting Executive Director of UkraineInvest.
The event laid the foundation for a number of fruitful partnerships.
UkraineInvest is grateful to the Greek side for supporting Ukraine’s investment aspirations.
