UkraineInvest’s institutional support enabled development of investment projects in the Rivne Region despite the martial law, said the head of Rivne Regional State Administration, Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Koval at the FIT for Ukraine: Construction Materials online forum.
“The main industries showed good dynamics and I would like to thank UkraineInvest, because its institutional support and personal attention of Sergiy Tsivkach allowed us to continue investment projects,” he said.
He mentioned the example of the Danish company Hjort Knudsen Ukraine, which started building a production facility at the end of February 2022 and opened its furniture factory in October 2022, employing over 200 people. The company produces contemporary furniture and exports exclusively to the European market. At full project capacity, the company will need one thousand workers.
The Head of the Rivne Region Administration recalled other positive examples of enterprises from the region that had increased production and entered the European markets.
“The west of Ukraine is emerging as a bridgehead for the future reconstruction of the country. This will require a lot of construction materials, so we urge you to take part in the process of reconstruction,” concluded the Head of the Rivne Regional State Administration.
According to him, the Rivne region itself is promising for investment in the production of construction materials. The region has a strong resource base and a favourable location for supplying products to the western and central regions of Ukraine, as well as for export.
The online forum FIT (Forum on Investments and Transformation) for Ukraine: Construction Materials was held on March 30. During the forum, actual analytics on the needs of Ukraine in the field of construction materials were presented. UkraineInvest organized the event.
