Textile-Contact Group is investing USD 1.4 mln to expand the capacity of its textile factory in Chernihiv

By the end of this year, the company plans to complete the purchase of a shutdown plant in Poland and move the equipment to Ukraine. First of all, this will allow the company to triple its fabric production, from the current 400,000 to 1 mln running metres per month. In addition, the company will be able to produce fabric with a width of 220-260 cm, which is not currently produced in Ukraine but is in demand in the US and Europe. In addition, the company will produce departmental fabrics and fabrics for workwear.

The initiative will create about 80 new jobs.
