Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency resumes work in Kyiv

Polish entrepreneurs name the construction and transportation industries as the most promising areas for cooperation.

This was discussed at a meeting on the occasion of the reopening of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) office in Kyiv. The office facilitates the entry of Polish businesses into the Ukrainian market, in particular by attracting investment in reconstruction projects. The Agency has created a database of Polish companies looking for opportunities to cooperate with Ukrainian businesses. It contains data on more than 2,500 companies and organizations.

The participants discussed improving the investment climate in Ukraine and strengthening Poland’s role in international donor platforms focused on supporting Ukraine.

Sergiy Tsivkach made a presentation on UkraineInvest’s activities, spoke about investment incentives, cooperation with PAIH, and Polish companies that UkraineInvest supports. Among them, in particular, are Barlinek, Cersanit, Mercator Medical, Impel Griffin, Fundusz Górnośląski SA and others.

The meeting was also attended by Michal Dworczyk, Minister of the Council of Ministers of Poland, Jadwiga Emilewicz, Government Commissioner for Polish-Ukrainian Development Cooperation, Bartosz Cichocki, Ambassador of Poland to Ukraine, representatives of the Government of Ukraine, business associations and entrepreneurs.
