Latvia joins the reconstruction of Chernihiv

Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleg Nemchynov met with Minister of Economy of the Republic of Latvia Ilze Indriksone. They discussed further cooperation, in particular, Latvia’s participation in the reconstruction of Ukraine.

Oleg Nemchynov stressed the importance of developing bilateral trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Latvia and noted the high potential for economic cooperation, especially in the sphere of trade, transport, energy and investment.

During the meeting, Sergiy Tsivkach, the Executive Director of UkraineInvest, presented opportunities for joint investment projects aimed at attracting private capital from Latvia.

We would like to remind you that in March, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov held a meeting of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation in Riga. During this event fruitful bilateral meetings and business events were held, and a high potential for the development of bilateral economic cooperation was identified.
