UkraineInvest Executive Director Sergiy Tsivkach told The Guardian that essential part of the post-war reconstruction in Ukraine will be paid for by private foreign investments.

The recovery and reconstruction processes are expected to “transform the country from an exporter of raw materials into a prosperous European state with developed industry,” the publication quotes Sergiy Tsivkach as he said in an interview for the article on the challenges of rebuilding Ukraine.

UkraineInvest is currently processing numerous requests from foreign companies interested in the investing in Ukraine, and dozens of projects are under way. 7 new investment projects for more than $1.3 billion were launched after the start of the full-scale aggression.
