The government will finance grants for the development of the processing business. On August 9, the Government allocated 44.3 million UAH from the reserve fund to finance the corresponding grant program.
Among the projects to be financed are: launch of a line for the production of wire, expansion of the production of toys, purchase of modern equipment for the expansion of the production of meat and meat products, purchase of an electro-optical sorting line for the processing and canning of fruits and vegetables, and etc.
Implementation of these projects will help create 150 jobs.
Soon, the first winners of the processing business development grant program, who scored the most points for their business projects, will receive funds for equipment, materials and raw materials.
In general, during the year, the Ministry of Economy expects the creation of about 75 thousand jobs and the launch of new enterprises that will create quality Ukrainian products due to the implementation of the grant program for the development of the processing industry.
Since the launch of the grant program for processing enterprises, Ukrainians have submitted 574 applications for participation through Diia. 65% of applicants plan to spend money on equipment, 22% – on putting the equipment into operation, 13% – on delivery of equipment.
Among the most popular areas in which entrepreneurs implement their projects are the production of goods and their wholesale trade – 4.5%, sawmilling and planing production – 4.1%, processing of grain, leguminous crops and oilseeds – 3.8%, production of meat products – 3.2%
The grant program for processing enterprises started on July 1, 2022. Grants of up to UAH 8 million are provided for the purchase of basic means of production, commissioning of equipment, and delivery of equipment. You can apply for a grant here
