The year 2024 was an important one for the UkraineInvest team in terms of developing international partnerships and sharing expertise. Throughout the year we worked closely with leading organisations in the field of investment support, including Invitalia (the Italian National Agency for Inward Investment and Economic Development) and AICEP (Portuguese Trade and Investment Agency).
Discussions focused on key issues such as the role of the private sector in Ukraine’s recovery, global best practices for attracting investment, and mechanisms to ensure investment security in times of war.
These discussions helped to identify ways to improve Ukraine’s investment climate in the context of economic recovery.
During this collaboration, the UkraineInvest team not only learned about the effective tools used by our partners to support international investors, but also presented Ukraine’s economic potential. We also shared our successes in implementing new investment initiatives. The exchange of experience with Italian partners opened up new opportunities for cooperation. Thanks to the establishment of effective interaction, we received practical recommendations for attracting investment and supporting business, even in difficult conditions.
AICEP organised a series of training sessions that provided our team with tools for attracting foreign direct investment and supporting Ukrainian companies in international markets. The programme included e-commerce development, business missions and participation in international procurement. This knowledge will help UkraineInvest to be more effective in attracting FDI and supporting Ukrainian businesses in international markets.
