The UkraineInvest team held a productive meeting with Juan Carlos Morales Alonso, Head of the Trade and Economic Section of the Embassy of Spain in Ukraine, to explore ways to enhance investment cooperation between Ukraine and Spain.
During the discussion, the parties reviewed prospects for collaboration, key areas of investor support, and opportunities to expand the presence of Spanish companies in the Ukrainian market. Mr. Morales Alonso emphasized the growing interest of Spanish businesses in investing in Ukraine and highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation to develop joint projects.
Acting Executive Director of UkraineInvest, Oleksandr Melnychenko, presented state investment support instruments and outlined the office’s comprehensive services, which provide effective assistance to investors at every stage of project implementation.
“Ukraine has established a modern investment facilitation model, enabling capital inflow into key sectors even during wartime. We showcased the attractiveness of Ukraine’s economy to Spanish businesses and proposed organizing a series of business missions of Spanish companies to Ukraine in the near future,” said Mr. Melnychenko.
According to Mr. Morales Alonso, the Embassy is actively identifying promising projects to attract investors and is working to create a platform for new initiatives.
