UkraineInvest strengthens cooperation with the Belgian business community

The Acting Executive Director of UkraineInvest, Oleksandr Melnychenko, and the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Belgium, Kris Beckers, discussed the prospects for developing bilateral investment relations and explored investment opportunities for Belgian companies in Ukraine.

During the meeting, Oleksandr Melnychenko presented Ukraine’s investment legislation and explained the role of UkraineInvest as a governmental institution responsible for assisting investors in the implementation of significant investment projects.

Particular attention was paid to the investment incentives offered by Ukraine to Belgian investors.

A number of Belgian companies are already operating successfully in Ukraine, each with its own experience in the local market. Despite the current challenges, these companies continue to actively pay taxes in Ukraine, confirming their role as committed foreign investors.
