UkraineInvest seeks a lawyer

UkraineInvest is looking for a lawyer to join its team in the Legal Affairs and Regulatory Policy Department.

Responsibilities:

to analyse and systematise problematic issues of foreign investors and provide assistance in the implementation of their investment projects in Ukraine;

to analyse investment regulations and prepare proposals for their improvement in order to improve the business climate in Ukraine;

to coordinate the actions of foreign investors with state authorities, local governments and other public authorities, as well as to promote, establish and participate in interaction with key stakeholders (state authorities, business associations, non-governmental organisations, etc.) in order to improve the business climate in Ukraine.

Requirements:

university degree in law and/or international law;

at least 1 year of experience in Ukrainian or international law (experience in leading international law firms, think tanks, etc. is an advantage)

strong analytical, communication and presentation skills;

experience in regulatory analysis and drafting;

fluency in Ukrainian and English (upper-intermediate level in English is required), as well as computer and office skills, knowledge of modern automated software systems;
Ukrainian citizenship.

Other professional experience and knowledge of other foreign languages are welcome and may be an advantage.

UkraineInvest is a modern state institution established in 2018 to attract foreign investment into the Ukrainian economy and improve the country’s investment climate and image.

We work with international investors to inform them about investment opportunities in Ukraine and to help them implement and maintain their investment projects in Ukraine.

This position requires working on the territory of Ukraine.
