UkraineInvest presents Ukraine’s investment and business opportunities to Austrian investors in the context of post-war recovery

On 6 May, Andrii Ryzvaniuk, a senior expert from the Investment Advisory Department of UkraineInvest, presented Ukraine’s investment opportunities and existing government support mechanisms for business at the Ukraine Reconstruction Forum in Vienna, Austria.

In his presentation, he emphasized the key role of UkraineInvest as the government-authorized institution responsible for supporting investors and providing comprehensive assistance in the implementation of investment projects, including those involving significant investments.

Andrii Ryzvaniuk provided a detailed overview of the instruments available under the Law of Ukraine “On State Support for Investment Projects with Significant Investments.” The law offers investors a range of benefits, including:

  • Lease of land plots without a competitive auction;
  • Exemption from import duties on new equipment;
  • Exemption from corporate income tax;
  • Reimbursement of costs for the construction of engineering and transport infrastructure.

During numerous B2B meetings, UkraineInvest expert Andrii Ryzvaniuk presented to potential investors from Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic—particularly those in the energy and construction materials sectors—the effective mechanism of state support for significant investment projects in Ukraine, as well as the broader investment potential of the Ukrainian market.
