Following the recent Ukraine–Greece Business Forum — one of the largest business events involving Greek entrepreneurs in Ukraine over the past five years — UkraineInvest hosted a working meeting with representatives of the Greek delegation at its office.
The delegation included Mr. Skalkos Dimitris, Secretary General for International and Economic Affairs of the MFA and Chairman of Enterprise Greece S.A.; Ambassador Iakovidis Iakovos, Head of the Diplomatic Cabinet of the Secretary General; Mr. Retsas Ioannis, Director General for Trade’s Strategic Development of Enterprise Greece; Ms. Tryposkoufi Anna, Director of SMEs and Major Exporters, Industry, Shipping, Energy and Country Promotion; and Mr. Psaris Dimitris, Head of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Greece in Kyiv.
The parties discussed prospects for further bilateral cooperation. The meeting highlighted Greece’s strong interest in deepening economic and investment ties with Ukraine.
Acting Executive Director of UkraineInvest Oleksandr Melnychenko reaffirmed the office’s readiness to actively support Greek investors and business communities in implementing joint projects and enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
The primary goal of future cooperation is to strengthen the Ukraine–Greece economic partnership and attract new investment to support Ukraine’s economic recovery.
