Kalush hosted the Precarpathian International Business Forum, which brought together business leaders and experts from more than 10 countries to discuss strategic economic challenges and find innovative solutions. The event, organised by the NGO New Formation with the support of Kalush City Council, has become a powerful platform for building strategic partnerships between business, government and international organisations. The Business Forum confirmed the important role of Kalush as an eco-industrial centre of Western Ukraine and opened up new opportunities for Ukrainian and foreign companies willing to support the sustainable development of our country.
Nazar Kohut, an UkraineInvest’s investment advisor, briefed participants on government incentives for investors. During his speech, he detailed the benefits of the Law of Ukraine “On State Support for Investment Projects with Significant Investments”. This initiative creates favourable conditions for large investments aimed at developing Ukraine’s economy and supporting local communities.
Forum participants had the opportunity to visit companies that have relocated to the Kalush municipality, including Motorimpex, Suzirya, Imperative and In white. Representatives of foreign delegations got acquainted with the Kalush Industrial HUB, a centre of new opportunities for Ukrainian and foreign investors, which already hosts more than 30 relocated companies. The development of such industrial zones is helping to create new jobs and strengthen Ukraine’s economic resilience in times of war.
In addition, Nazar Kohut inspected vacant plots of land and free production areas (greenfield, brownfield) and infrastructure available in the municipality of Kalush, which will be offered to a foreign investor for the implementation of an investment project under the law on significant investments.
