UkraineInvest and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine have started cooperation to improve the investment climate and attract investments for the construction of waste treatment facilities in Ukraine.

The parties strengthened their agreements by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation.

According to preliminary estimates, the creation of a network of waste treatment plants in Ukraine will bring more than EUR 4-5 billion in investments, and the implementation of the Water Framework Directive and the implementation of all planned measures in the next six years will bring another EUR 8 billion.

Therefore, UkraineInvest, in cooperation with the Ministry, will participate in attracting and supporting investment projects with significant investments in the construction of waste treatment plants in Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions.
