UkraineInvest and the Embassy of Italy Discuss Participation of Italian Business in Ukraine’s Recovery

The UkraineInvest team held a strategic meeting with Francesca Toninato, Head of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Italy in Ukraine, and Fabrizio Giustarini, Director of the Kyiv Office of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).

The discussion focused on further steps to strengthen investment cooperation between Ukraine and Italy. Both sides emphasized the shared goal of expanding capital inflows and encouraging Italian businesses to participate in Ukraine’s recovery projects.

Key discussion points included:

opportunities within the Ukraine Facility program and other financial instruments available to Italian investors;
cooperation with leading Italian financial institutions – SIMEST, SACE, and CDP – to develop new investment support mechanisms;
access for Italian companies to investment opportunities through the UkraineInvest Guide, Investment Portal, and analytical tools;
development of investor support instruments and creation of partnership models between businesses of both countries.

Such institutional collaboration contributes to building effective investment mechanisms and reinforces the economic partnership between Ukraine and Italy.
