Ukraine increased cashless payments by 5.7% in the first half of 2020  

While Ukraine is constantly moving towards digitalization, the cash-free future is getting closer.


📈 The cashless payments in Ukraine increased by 5.7% in the first half of 2020.


💳 The share of cashless payments takes 55% now, while the total number of non-cash transactions grew by 4% to 86%.


🏦 The central bank reports that the total number of transactions using payment cards issued by Ukrainian banks in H1 2020 grew by 16.6% y-o-y to 2.7 billion and their amount – by 7% to UAH 1.7 trillion.
