Turkish companies show interest in expanding investments in Ukraine 

UkraineInvest continues its proactive efforts to attract major foreign investors, including those from the Republic of Türkiye. A meeting with representatives of leading Turkish companies, 77 INSAAT (77 Construction) and Rama Enerji, who are exploring investment opportunities in Ukraine, was held at the Government Investment Promotion and Support Office. The meeting was organised with the support of Burak Pehlivan, Chairman of the International Turkish-Ukrainian Business Association (TUID).

Discussions focused on attracting Turkish capital to Ukraine’s energy sector and infrastructure projects. Turkish companies expressed interest in investing in the reconstruction of critical infrastructure, the development of renewable energy and the establishment of new production facilities.

77 INSAAT is one of Turkey’s largest construction and civil engineering companies, with extensive experience in delivering major infrastructure projects worldwide, particularly in the transport and energy infrastructure sectors. The company specialises in the construction of roads, bridges and airports, as well as renewable energy projects such as hydroelectric, solar and wind power plants. Notable projects include the construction of a 100 MW hydropower plant in Kajaki, Afghanistan, which provides electricity to 250,000 people, and a 15 MW solar power plant in Kandahar.

Rama Enerji is one of Turkey’s leading energy conglomerates specialising in renewable energy and power generation, distribution and retail projects. The company owns 25 renewable power plants with a total installed capacity of 1,180 MW, making it the largest provider of green energy in Turkey.
