The guide for investors with significant investments is a handbook for entrepreneurs who are ready to implement investment projects in Ukraine worth EUR 12 million or more.
The Guide contains information on the step-by-step algorithm of actions for investors and other participants in the investment process, namely
– Request by the investor to UkraineInvest for assistance in the preparation and implementation of an investment project involving significant investment;
– Preparation and submission by the investor, with the assistance of UkraineInvest, of an application to the Ministry of Economy for evaluation of the investment project;
– The Ministry of Economy conducts an evaluation of the investment project;
– Preparation of a conclusion by the Ministry of Economy on the feasibility or infeasibility of implementing the investment project;
– In case of conclusion of expediency, the Ministry of Economy prepares a draft decision on conclusion of a special investment agreement and sends it to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;
– Conclusion of a special investment agreement between the investor, the CMU and the local government;
– Implementation of the project by the investor with the assistance of UkraineInvest.
In accordance with the Law “On State Support of Investment Projects with Significant Investments in Ukraine”, UkraineInvest is a state agency authorised by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to provide support in the preparation and implementation of projects with significant investments and to facilitate the implementation of a special investment agreement.
