On April 3, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in collaboration with the government institution UkraineInvest, organized a webinar for diplomats specializing in economic affairs.
The event aimed to equip Ukrainian diplomatic representatives abroad with practical tools, case studies, and up-to-date information to enhance the attraction of foreign investment into Ukraine’s economy and strengthen the country’s investment appeal on the international stage.
Participants received a comprehensive overview of key aspects related to investment attraction and facilitation in Ukraine, an analysis of current investment opportunities, and insights into prospective investments in strategic economic sectors. The webinar also provided a detailed review of state incentives for investors, including mechanisms outlined in the Law on State Support for Investment Projects with Significant Investments in Ukraine.
A special focus was given to UkraineInvest’s investor support framework – from the initial contact to the implementation of an investment project. Experts also discussed practical aspects of investor interaction with government authorities, including the process of obtaining necessary permits for major investment projects.
