The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has registered two new industrial parks

The Formentor Industrial Park (Rivne Region) will create 1,400 new jobs on an area of 28.1 hectares in the fields of processing industry, information and telecommunications, alternative energy, engineering, waste treatment and disposal, research and development, etc. In particular, the park will produce food, beverages, basic pharmaceuticals, medicines and other chemicals. Another industrial park, InPark Boryslav (Lviv region), will create 2,300 new jobs on an area of 20 hectares. It will specialise in manufacturing, with a focus on furniture production. The investment is expected to exceed UAH 2 billion.

This year, the state budget has allocated UAH 1 billion for the development of industrial parks.

“The government’s priority is to develop local business, increase production of high value-added goods and promote the Ukrainian brand. New platforms for entrepreneurs will create almost 4,000 jobs in various fields of activity. It is also an additional opportunity for investment in manufacturing and in the recovery of Ukraine as a whole,” said Vitaliy Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
