Representatives of Japanese businesses have expressed interest in implementing joint investment projects with Ukrainian entrepreneurs

Japanese investors focus on energy, housing, critical infrastructure, humanitarian demining and business support.

Japanese investors are focused on the restoration and development of construction, energy and transport infrastructure in Ukraine, cybersecurity, cooperation in the agricultural sector, digital solutions and innovations in manufacturing.

During a meeting with a Japanese business delegation led by the President of the Japan External Trade Organization JETRO, the UkraineInvest team assured the Japanese side that all investment projects would receive proper support from UkraineInvest.

The parties discussed investment opportunities offered by Ukraine and ways of intensifying bilateral cooperation.

The Japanese delegation was represented by the following companies:

  • Kusuhara Transportation (specialising in the transport of heavy and oversized cargo);
  • Padeco (initiator of infra-technology projects);
  • Nippon Koei (infrastructure project initiator);

  • SDGs (agriculture);
  • Sagri (agritech);
  • Mebiol (agritech).
