🤝 In times of COVID-19, it’s important to work closely with the broad range of partners in order to increase interdependence and boost cooperation in different realms.
Today, Ukraine Invest and هيئة الاستثمار – Investment Commission (JIC) held a productive meeting aimed at exchanging experience and increasing the trade and investments between Ukraine and Jordan. The Executive Director of UkraineInvest Sergiy Tsivkach outlined Ukraine’s potential and emerging opportunities for Jordanian business as well as UkraineInvest’s key activities aimed at attracting foreign investments and promoting investment opportunities in Ukraine.
At the same time, the Jordan Investment Commission shared their experience in attracting FDI, incentives the country provides to investors, efforts to help businesses in times of COVID-19, and sectors that showed the biggest growth during the pandemic.
💬 “Both institutions are facing challenges during the COVID-19 times, but still can provide lots of opportunities. We see JIC not as a competitor but as a partner thus we can mutually benefit from our cooperation, find points of relevancy in implementation of joint investment projects and boost investments from Jordan to Ukraine and vice versa,” noted Mr. Tsivkach.
Projects related to food security, agro-processing, and fish farming are of great interest to both Ukraine and Jordan.
