About UkraineInvest:
UkraineInvest is the national investment promotion and support office established by the Government of Ukraine to facilitate the flow of investment into the country’s economy.
The Office promotes priority investment projects, fosters partnerships between investors and Ukrainian businesses, provides support to investors throughout the entire investment process, and contributes to building a positive international investment image for Ukraine.
UkraineInvest works closely with government authorities, international financial institutions, global investors, and private sector representatives, serving as a key institutional bridge between the state, business, and international partners.
The Role:
The Lead Legal Counsel provides legal and regulatory support for investment projects and assists in resolving challenging issues faced by investors.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing legal advice to investors on regulatory requirements and procedures;
• Analyzing regulatory risks for investment projects;
• Facilitating interaction between investors and government authorities;
• Assisting in the structuring of investment arrangements, including investment agreements, JVs, M&A transactions, and shareholders’ agreements;
• Preparing legal opinions;
• Supporting the Investment Advisory Team during engagements with investors.
Requirements
• Higher education degree in Law.
• Typically 3–5 years of professional experience in investment, civil, regulatory, corporate, or international law.
• Experience working with commercial contracts, investment agreements, or M&A documentation.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
• Readiness for business trips within Ukraine and abroad.
