Acting Executive Director of UkraineInvest Oleksandr Melnychenko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky discussed the prospects for developing bilateral investment relations and opportunities for Israeli business on the Ukrainian market.
During the meeting, Oleksandr Melnychenko presented Ukrainian legislation on state support for the investors with significant investments, elaborated on the role of UkraineInvest as a government office for investment attraction and facilitation and outlined the incentives and benefits provided by law that would be granted to investors.
As noted by the Ambassador, Israeli business shows active interest in Ukraine’s investment climate and opportunities. Business risk insurance guarantees are of particular importance to investors.
The parties paid special attention to Ukraine’s urgent reconstruction needs and the role of private capital in this process.
Strategic cooperation between UkraineInvest and the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine creates significant opportunities for investment in key sectors of the Ukrainian economy (particularly in processing industry, logistics, warehousing, healthcare, electronic communications and mining), which will contribute to its recovery and modernization in the post-war period.
