Irish company Kingspan starts construction of EUR 280 million innovation campus in Ukraine with support from UkraineInvest

Kingspan, a global leader in building solutions and thermal insulation materials, has begun construction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing campus near Lviv with the active support of UkraineInvest.

The total investment in the project amounts to EUR 280 million.

“Kingspan was one of the first western companies to announce its intention to invest in Ukraine following the start of the full-scale invasion and has remained committed to its plans ever since. We are delighted to see our vision become a reality at this stage. This has been made possible by working closely with the local authorities, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and UkraineInvest,” said Mike Stenson, Project Director at Kingspan Ukraine.

At every stage of the project, UkraineInvest, together with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, provided expert support, advising the investor and facilitating effective engagement with government institutions.

The new facility will meet the highest standards of energy efficiency and sustainability. The campus will use energy-saving technologies and renewable energy sources, while its products will support Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts and the development of the energy-efficient construction sector in both Ukraine and Europe.

UkraineInvest continues to serve as a trusted partner for international investors considering Ukraine as a promising destination for business and growth.

Operating in more than 80 countries with 273 manufacturing facilities worldwide, Kingspan is actively investing in sustainable development and promoting green and energy efficient building solutions.
