Finnish company Hesburger expands its presence in Ukraine: new investment exceeds EUR 12 million

The Finnish company Hesburger, which has successfully operated in Ukraine for over a decade and currently manages a network of seven restaurants, plans to launch a new investment project worth more than EUR 12 million. This announcement was made during a meeting between Hesburger’s management team and the UkraineInvest team.

The investment envisions the construction of approximately 10 new restaurants in western regions of Ukraine over the next five years. Hesburger has already begun the process of identifying new land plots for the implementation of this project. The company’s business concept focuses on combining European quality standards with the use of Ukrainian resources.

It is worth noting that Hesburger has prior experience with strategic investments in the Ukrainian economy. The company previously invested EUR 6 million in the establishment of a frozen burger production facility in Boryspil.

Hesburger and UkraineInvest share an ambitious joint goal — to prepare and submit an application to the Ministry of Economy for the recognition of this initiative as a significant investment project in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On State Support for Investment Projects with Significant Investments.”

UkraineInvest will provide the investor with free legal, analytical, and informational support throughout the preparation and implementation of this investment project.

UkraineInvest invites Finnish businesses to cooperate in the preparation and realization of significant investment projects in Ukraine.
