Export credit guarantees and the opening of a new trade office in Kyiv will make it easier for Swedish companies to invest in Ukraine

On 1 March 2024, the Swedish Export Credit Agency (EKN) started accepting applications for special credit guarantees for exports to Ukraine.

The total limit of guarantees in accordance with the country’s budget for 2024 is SEK 333 million (USD 32.1 million).

The guarantees will be provided for exports that can contribute to the development and prosperity of Ukraine.

In addition to the new export credit guarantees, it was also decided to open an office of the Trade Secretary in Kyiv and to appoint a new Trade Secretary.
