Members of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development have announced that Draft Law No. 7508 on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) is expected to be submitted for a second reading soon.
According to Dmytro Natalukha, Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, the draft law is nearly 400 pages long, containing modern, detailed, and EU-aligned legislation aimed at creating a practical tool for attracting investment into Ukraine’s reconstruction.
Rebuilding Ukraine after russia’s full-scale aggression requires over USD 524 billion. Without large-scale investments, restoring the country’s infrastructure will be impossible. Therefore, public-private partnerships are one of the key mechanisms for effectively leveraging private capital in public projects.
