The third selection of projects eligible to receive funding under the relevant subvention within the framework of the financial agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank has been announced



The Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine has announced the third selection of projects to be financed by the relevant subsidy under the Financial Agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank (EIB) “Ukraine Recovery Programme”.

Until 20 December 2023, project proposals can be submitted by local governments, local executive authorities and executive bodies of village, town and city councils of territorial communities.
Only one project can be submitted by a municipality that has not received funding from other sources.

Projects will be selected in the following areas 

– construction, reconstruction or renovation of public buildings; 
– construction, reconstruction or rehabilitation of critical infrastructure;
– construction, reconstruction, repair of buildings for the accommodation of internally displaced persons and persons who have lost their homes as a result of military operations caused by the armed aggression of russia;
– construction, reconstruction, repair of housing to provide shelter for the population.

In the summer of 2021, the Financial Agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank “Ukraine Recovery Programme” was ratified, which provides for the mobilisation of EUR 340 mln for projects aimed at restoring social infrastructure, housing and municipal services, etc. in the regions affected by the military conflict (controlled by the Government of Ukraine), as well as in those regions most severely affected by the influx of IDPs.
