Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched a beta test of uResidency

uResidency is an e-residency programme that will allow foreigners to register as sole proprietors in Ukraine, run a business from anywhere in the world and pay taxes to our budget.

In uResidency, all services are automated and online: from applying for status to opening a bank account and paying taxes.

Future e-residents will also benefit from
– mobile banking;
– low taxation of 5%;
– no accounting and reporting.

Following the beta test, the programme will be available to citizens of the first four countries – India, Pakistan, Thailand and Slovenia. This list will be gradually expanded.

The programme will become a powerful source of funding for the recovery of the Ukrainian economy through taxation of foreign entrepreneurs. It will also popularise Ukraine’s brand as a digital nation.
