Astarta-Kyiv will build a soybean processing line for 50 million

This is a new investment project to build a technological line for advanced soybean processing. Its capacity will be up to 100,000 tonnes of soya protein concentrate per year.

The innovative technology for Ukraine involves the production of soya protein concentrate (SPC) from non-granulated soya meal by the extraction method using a water-alcohol solution. Soya concentrate is used as a high quality feed additive for all types of livestock, poultry and fish.

This was stated by Yevhen Sadovy, Director of Agricultural Products Processing of Astarta-Kyiv, during the forum “FIT for Ukraine: AGRI-PROCESSING”.

“Astarta-Kyiv is a vertically integrated agro-industrial holding whose main business areas are the production of sugar and related products, cereals and oilseeds, milk and meat, as well as soya processing and biogas production.
