The Cabinet of Ministers has launched the work of the Bureau of Economic Security

As of November 25, the Bureau’s central office has been formed by more than 30%, which allows starting the Bureau’s analytical and law enforcement function. Its powers include, in particular:

✅ identification of risk zones in the economy
✅ providing proposals for legislative changes to eliminate economic crime schemes
✅ investigation of such crimes and development of analytical conclusions

The Verkhovna Rada approved the law on the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine on January 28, 2021. On May 12, the Cabinet of Ministers established the Bureau of Economic Security, which is tasked with combating offenses in the economic sector.
