“Green” investments, decarbonization is one of the priority investment sectors in Ukraine, emphasized UkraineInvest Executive Director Sergiy Tsivkach at a meeting with the Heads of two Associations: Rokas Urbonas – Lithuanian Demolition Association, Eduard Avetyan – Waste Processing Association of Ukraine (APVU) and the Coordinator of the Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN) in the Eastern Hemisphere (Europe, Asia , Australia).
The subject of the meeting was the discussion of the possibilities of creating mobile construction waste processing sites, which appeared as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, as well as the interest in maintaining the ecological balance and safety on the territory of Ukraine.
Taking into account the desire of the Lithuanian and Ukrainian associations to help the local communities of Ukraine to solve the problem of the growing amount of construction waste, and taking into account the presence of their members in the field of building demolition, processing, utilisation and secondary use of construction waste, they decided to consolidate efforts to attract funding for the development and implementation of such projects on the territory of Ukraine.
