Tbilisi hosted the 10th Joint Ukrainian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation

Tbilisi hosted the 10th Joint Ukrainian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, in which UkraineInvest Executive Director Sergiy Tsivkach took part.

Within the commission framework, expert discussions were held to expand bilateral dialogue and further develop trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia. Among other things, the parties also identified areas for strengthening mutually beneficial investment cooperation between the countries.

As of the second quarter of 2021, the total volume of FDI from Georgia to Ukraine amounted to $8,9 mln. Most of the investments are made in the wholesale and retail trade (over $900 thousand) and the processing industry (over $600 thousand).
