UkraineInvest continues its efforts to attract private investment to Ukraine to help rebuild and grow the economy – this time from Canada

Speaking at the REBUILD UKRAINE BUSINESS CONFERENCE 2023, the CEO of UkraineInvest called on Canadian companies to invest in Ukraine.

The slogan of the forum is “The future is built today”. The goal is to showcase the tools and opportunities for Canadian businesses and investors who have taken an active interest in Ukraine’s historic recovery. More than 50 speakers from Ukraine, Canada and the United States shared their experiences, success stories and vision for Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Participants were introduced to investment projects aimed at restoring and modernising Ukraine in the areas of agriculture, construction/infrastructure, energy and healthcare, as well as tools offered by the IFC, EBRD and EDC to support Canadian businesses interested in investing in Ukraine.

“It is possible and necessary to invest in Ukraine. Our top priority now is to facilitate investment and support investment projects in the most attractive sectors of the Ukrainian economy. UkraineInvest provides investors interested in doing business with comprehensive support, including up-to-date analysis, necessary for making decisions about investment and further work in our country. UkraineInvest is at the forefront of this activity on behalf of the Ukrainian Government: we talk to investors about the opportunities associated with the country’s reconstruction and economic transformation. This helps international companies make decisions about investing in Ukraine.  We want companies to recognise that Ukraine is a profitable business case and to contact UkraineInvest to explore opportunities. We invite Canadian investors to work with us – Ukraine has done its homework and has a lot to offer those willing to invest in the country’s recovery,” said Sergiy Tsivkach.

The event was organised by the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce in partnership with #UkraineInvest, the Business Council of Canada, the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada, the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, CEO Club Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
