UkraineInvest Executive Director Sergiy Tsivkach and Head of Legal Affairs and Regulatory Policy Department of UkraineInvest Yevhenii Shakotko met with CRH Ukraine representatives to discuss the company’s current investment projects and plans.
UkraineInvest helped CRH Ukraine obtain the permitting documents for construction works within the framework of a new project at JSC “Podilsky Cement” plant in the Khmelnytsky region. The plant has been operating since 1970, and since 1999 it has been part of the CRH group.
It should be noted that JSC “Podilsky Cement” uses the state-of-the-art environmentally safe dry cement process and is the first cement plant in Ukraine to join the Kyoto Protocol as part of the UN Joint Implementation Plan.
