Finnish companies are exploring sectors for investment in Ukraine without waiting for the war to end

This was discussed during a meeting between UkraineInvest management and a delegation of Finnish companies.

The parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in the framework of investment projects and planned a series of introductory events for Finnish companies. The Finnish business community is seriously interested in cooperation and investment in Ukraine.

Finland is among the top countries supporting Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale russian aggression in February 2022, Finland has provided assistance to Ukraine totalling EUR 1.7 bln. The support was provided in the areas of development, humanitarian aid, financial and military assistance. The state has consistently supported Ukraine on its path to European integration and territorial integrity. Most Finnish companies have left the russian market.
