The EU will provide financial assistance to Ukraine for energy efficiency measures

Ukraine signed an additional Agreement with the EU on the “Energy Efficiency Support Program of Ukraine – EE4U”. The agreement aims to increase funding for the Energy Efficiency Fund, as well as improve cooperation between donors, the Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF), the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Energy Efficiency Fund.

The program will be extended until 2028, and co-financing from Germany will increase by 10 million euros.

In general, energy independence is an important element of national security and further development of Ukraine.
