Turkish business is considering the possibility of creating industrial parks in Ukraine.

It was stated by the Chairman of the International Business Association TURKSİD Ismet Yüksel during a meeting with UkraineInvest Executive Director Sergiy Tsivkach and Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yevgeniya Gaber. TURKSİD representative Lenur Mambetov and a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Gayana Yüksel also participated in the conversation.

“It is important for us to develop cooperation with Turkish business and learn its successful experience of organizing an industrial parks network. Now UkraineInvest is working on the concept “Ukraine – a European manufacturing hub,” according to which, due to its geographical location, skilled workforce, and extensive transport infrastructure, Ukraine is becoming the new production center of the European region. In this context, industrial parks play an important role as manufacturing clusters to implement joint production activities. Such parks are one of the most effective tools for attracting investments,” said Sergiy Tsivkach.

The parties also discussed other priority areas for locating production facilities in Ukraine and agreed to participate in joint events to deepen Ukrainian-Turkish investment relations.
