As part of the 21st CIFIT (China International Fair for Investment & Trade), held in Xiamen, Fujian province (People’s Republic of China), the First Ukrainian-Chinese Investment Forum “New Opportunities for Cooperation in a New Era” was held, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade of Xiamen, UkraineInvest and the Ukrainian-Chinese Trading Association with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in China and the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine. Around 300 companies from Ukraine and China took part in the online forum.
UkraineInvest Executive Director Sergiy Tsivkach presented Ukraine’s investment opportunities for Chinese enterprises, noting that “investments will become the main topic of the new agenda between Ukraine and the People’s Republic of China, and will bring bilateral relations to a new level.”
It was also highlighted that the attraction of Chinese businesses within the framework of the “Make in UA” industrial relocation program, which is actively developed and popularized by UkraineInvest, will contribute to the transformation of Ukraine into a powerful industrial Eurasian hub.
