UkraineInvest is looking for an Investment Advisor, to join its Investment Advisory Department team.
Responsibilities:
– to establish contacts and maintain a network of potential investors in order to attract them to start or expand their business in Ukraine;
– to establish contacts and maintain a network of other foreign stakeholders who can contribute to attracting investment to Ukraine;
– to provide (in cooperation with the Analytical and Legal Affairs and Regulatory Policy Departments) information support to potential and existing foreign investors on the current business environment in Ukraine;
– researching (including processing incoming enquiries), analysing and presenting potential investment opportunities in Ukraine to potential foreign investors;
– to provide advisory support to foreign investors implementing projects to start or expand their business in Ukraine;
– to organise events to promote investment opportunities to Ukrainian businesses and local authorities, including webinars and training sessions;
– to participate in the organisation of events to promote investment opportunities in Ukraine abroad (conferences, forums, exhibitions, etc.);
– to engage in lobbying for legislative changes to improve investment attractiveness in Ukraine, including communication with central executive authorities.
Skills required:
– experience in management consulting, deal/client acquisition, deal support, investment banking, client relationship building/account management (experience with foreign companies or overseas is an advantage);
– university degree in economics, finance, management, marketing or other related field;
– understanding of the Ukrainian business environment (regulatory framework for business and investment, relevant reforms);
– understanding of the main trends in FDI in Ukraine and abroad;
– excellent communication and relationship building skills, analytical and presentation skills are key qualities for effective work, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team, and to prioritise tasks within possible time constraints;
– fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian and English is a must; additional professional experience and knowledge of other foreign languages are welcome and may be an advantage.
The position requires working on the territory of Ukraine.
