Today, a solemn ceremony of celebrating the National Day of Ukraine took place at Expo 2020 Dubai with the participation of representatives of the official and business delegations of Ukraine and the UAE. UkraineInvest is a participant in the exhibition and, as part of the official delegation, represents Ukraine’s investment opportunities to the world community.
The exhibition features pavilions of 192 countries. Each country has its own National Day, and Ukraine is among the first to represent it.
During the opening ceremony, the Head of the UAE Delegation, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and the Head of the Ukrainian Delegation, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Iryna Novikova, addressed the guests of the ceremony with welcoming words. National Day is an important event during Expo 2020 Dubai when each of the participating countries has the opportunity to showcase their achievements and potential for cooperation.
The pavilion of Ukraine with a total area of 2600 square meters is decorated with the use of Ukrainian style and ornaments, the architectural image embodies the idea of an ear of wheat. Stands of Ukrainian innovative companies presenting their unique product are located on each of the four floors of the pavilion. All exhibits are united around the idea of the possibility of sustainable development of a “new innovative and mobile society” that exists in harmony with nature.
Expo 2020 Dubai is the largest exhibition event in the world. It is expected that the event will be attended by around 25 million people from 180 countries.
