Poland is preparing to launch an investment fund to support the development of Polish and Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Ukraine, with the option of investment insurance

Investment insurance will be provided by the Polish State Export Credit Insurance Corporation (KUKE), which, following a change in legislation, has expanded its scope of activities.

Since September 2023, it has been insuring and reinsuring investment and export contracts not only for Polish companies but also for international ones, including those in Ukraine. KUKE is the world’s only insurer that assumes the risks associated with payment for delivered products and their transportation to customers in Ukraine.

Currently, KUKE is implementing its first contract on behalf of a company based outside of Poland, which involves insuring the risks of a German company investing in Ukraine.
